Motorists on State Route 79 near the Gila River Bridge in Florence should expect overnight delays and lane restrictions the nights of Monday, July 18 through Saturday, July 23 and Monday, July 25 through Thursday, July 28 while crews set girders.
Work is scheduled from 8 p.m. each night to 6 a.m. the following morning for the following restrictions:
- Monday, July 18 through Saturday, July 23 alternating north- and southbound lane restrictions on SR 79 between Hunt Highway (milepost 136) and Ranchview Road (milepost 135).
- Monday, July 25 through Thursday, July, 28 alternating north- and southbound lane restrictions on SR 79 between Hunt Highway (milepost 136) and Ranchview Road (milepost 135).
- A 12-foot vehicle width restriction.
- Speed limit reduced to 25 mph.
Motorists should allow extra travel time and use caution around construction personnel and equipment.
