No joke: Founders' Park Splash Pad open just in time for warmer weather

Queen Creek offers a variety of other recreation opportunities including parks, an extensive trail system, specialty programs and classes, Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre and a dog park, Pocket Park for Pups.

It's no joke today as the Founders' Park Splash Pad is finally open for warmer weather after the Town of Queen Creek fixed the splash pad's equipment failure in the water quality system that put a damper on its scheduled opening last month.

Queen Creek offers two splash pads for families to enjoy. One is the Splash Pad at Mansel Park, featuring a shipwrecked-themed splash pad with various above ground water features, located at 19535 E. Appleby Road. It's open from 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. March through October.

The other is the Splash Pad at Founders' Park, with more than 4,000 square feet across the street from Town Hall featuring various above ground water features at 22407 S. Ellsworth Road. It's open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. during March, April, September and October; and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. May through August.
