Local credit union raises $65K for Phoenix Children’s

TruWest Credit Union’s team fundraising initiatives support Children’s Miracle Network Hospital

TruWest Credit Union has donated $65,000 to Phoenix Children’s. This gift included employee payroll charity donations with over 190 participants donating nearly $29,000 in 2022.

“The TruWest team comes together as an organization each year to support Phoenix Children’s,” said Alan Althouse, president and CEO of TruWest Credit Union. “We live our credit union’s core value of 'People helping people' through actions such as this. It is an honor to aid the work of an organization such as Phoenix Children’s. They make a true difference in the lives of the children in our community, each and every day.”   

Phoenix Children’s is the leading pediatric health system in the Southwest, nationally recognized for exceptional care, innovative research and advanced medical education. Home to the state’s largest group of pediatric specialists, Phoenix Children’s works to advance hope, healing and the best healthcare for children and their families.

TruWest has been a contributor to Children’s Miracle Network hospitals for nearly 30 years. In addition to the payroll deduction contributions, TruWest employees also participate in fundraising efforts and events like the Miles that Matter 5k & Kid’s Dash, the Miles that Matter Cycling event and PCH Give-A-Thons.
