Jeff Brown named Queen Creek vice mayor, other council appointments for 2022

“We've got a great team on Town Council working diligently to keep Queen Creek truly a wonderful place to call home and I respect my colleagues immensely," Brown said. "To have earned their trust and vote of confidence in this appointment is deeply humbling and a supreme honor. To that end, I'll work hard over the course of the year to meet their expectations and represent the town and the residents to the best of my ability.”

At its Jan. 19 meeting, the Queen Creek Town Council selected Jeff Brown to serve a one-year term as vice mayor. Responsibilities of the vice mayor include conducting meetings of the Town Council when the mayor cannot be present and representing the views of the mayor and the town at official or ceremonial functions and meetings with other agencies when the mayor is unable to attend. The mayor nominates the vice mayor from among the council members, and the mayor and Town Council vote to confirm the appointment.
