Halloween candy donations needed for QC’s Trunk or Treat

To keep up with the growing demand of candy for the event, now through Sept 28, donate a bag of candy for your chance to win a Trunk or Treat VIP Experience, which includes four “no wait” trunk line wristbands, $20 carnival ticket voucher and one VIP parking pass. Receive one entry ticket for every one-pound bag of unopened, individually wrapped candy donated.

The Town of Queen Creek is seeking candy donations from the community for its annual Halloween event, Trunk or Treat.

There are four locations to donate candy:

·       Library Recreation Annex, 21802 S. Ellsworth Road.

·       Sun Valley Church, 20271 E. Rittenhouse Road.

·       Rock Point Church, 24759 S. Power Road.

·       Central Christian Church, 22505 E. Ocotillo Road.

A limited number of VIP Experiences are also available for purchase online and at the Recreation Annex for $75 through Oct. 12. Everyone using the front of line VIP experience must have a wristband, regardless of age. Carnival tickets are also available for pre-sale through Oct. 12 at $8 for 20 tickets (tickets are $10 for 20 at the event). Carnival tickets allow for participation in carnival games, inflatables, haunted houses, escape rooms and interactive attractions. Visit QueenCreekAZ.gov/RecRegistration to purchase your tickets.

Trunk or Treat provides a unique way for families to enjoy an evening of Halloween fun and will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21 on Ellsworth Road in the Town Center. Children trick‐or-treat by going from car trunk to car trunk on Trunk or Treat Street to get their bags filled with goodies. There will also be carnival games, escape rooms, food, vendors and more exciting Halloween attractions.
