This event is put on by the Gilbert Promotional Corporation, founded in 1978 by a group of Gilbert businessmen and ranchers to promote family values and keep the spirit of western heritage alive in the hearts and minds of the community. The Gilbert Days Royalty Court spends countless hours promoting the Town of Gilbert and Gilbert Days events – locally and statewide – by attending rodeos, fundraisers and community service projects. The major goals and objectives continue to encompass promoting the Town of Gilbert and its western heritage. One focal point is to become an integral part of Gilbert’s Master Plan process to promote and provide for the needs of fellow equestrians in the community, like the Town of Queen Creek. Thousands of Arizonans, as well as out-of-state visitors, attend Gilbert Days events every year.
