Friend of the Week: Sweet Little Muffin loves to play ball, fetch

This happy, spunky and energetic girl is spayed, licensed, microchipped and current on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $250.

Little Muffin is a 5-year-old, 30-pound Chihuahua blend who joined Friends for Life Animal Rescue recently from a county facility. She found herself as a stray and was taken in by the local police department, and they turned her over to Maricopa County Animal Control.

Little Muffin loves to play ball and fetch and is a happy, spunky and energetic girl. She is highly food motivated (but really, who isn't?). She takes treats very gently and is patient with you if you have to fumble with the treat bag a little bit. She knows "sit" and will do it for treats. She is a sweet little girl who is living at the Friends for Life adoption center while she waits for you to come and meet her. She prefers that other dogs not get too close to her, so she'll be happiest as your only canine companion and will do best in a home with a yard so she doesn't have to keep meeting other dogs on walks.

Little Muffin is spayed, licensed, microchipped and current on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $250. At Friends for Life Animal Rescue, animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Cats are tested for FELV/FIV.
