Friend of the Week: Peanut McDoogle would love a new family as soon as possible

He is licensed, microchipped, vaccinated and neutered. His adoption fee is $250.

Peanut McDoogle is a 3-year-old, 16-pound Chihuahua blend who recently joined Friends for Life Animal Rescue from a county facility, where he was found as a stray. When he arrived, additional medical tests were done which determined that little Peanut McDoogle has Tick Fever. He started treatment and he already seems more perky and playful (during his photo shoot he was rolling around on the carpet and cuddling with the photography handlers). He doesn't like when other dogs get too close so he'll need to be your only canine companion.

Peanut McDoogle is living at Friends for Life's adoption center, located at 952 Melody Ave. in Gilbert and could be available to go home as a foster-to-adopt while he finishes his treatment. Friends for Life pays for all medical-related to the Tick Fever until he's cleared.

Peanut McDoogle would love to start his life with his new family as soon as possible. He is licensed, microchipped, vaccinated and neutered. His adoption fee is $250. For more information on Peanut McDoogle, stop by the adoption center, email FFLdogs@azfriends.org, call 480-497-8296 or visit Friends for Life online at www.azfriends.org.
