Friend of the Week: Meet The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is a domestic, short-haired, black and white tuxedo cat, about 2-years-old. She was rescued with her five kittens and now it is her turn to find a forever home. Maisel is a chatty girl and loves her attention.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is a domestic, short-haired, black and white tuxedo cat, about 2-years-old.
 
She was rescued with her five kittens and now it is her turn to find a forever home. Maisel is a chatty girl and loves her attention. She'll touch you with her paws if she thinks you need to be paying attention to her. 
 
The sparkly wand toy is her favorite and she goes after it with the enthusiasm of a kitten. When Maisel prefers some time to herself, she will let you know with subtle cues such as a gentle love nibble to say "no more pets right now, please."
 
Maisel tested positive for FIV but is, otherwise, very healthy. She can go on to live a long, healthy and happy life. The adoption consultants at Friends for Life Animal Rescue can elaborate on what this diagnosis means for Maisel and the family that adopts her.
 
This marvelous girl is living at the Friends for Life Adoption Center, at 952 W. Melody Ave. in Gilbert. Her adoption fee is $175. 
 
At Friends for Life, animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Cats are also tested for FELV/FIV.
