Free Arizona Electric Fleet Day April 3

Hosted by the Transportation Electrification Activator (TE Activator), which is a coalition of regional stakeholders dedicated to advancing transportation electrification for the benefit of all Arizonans.

SRP has announced Arizona EV Fleet Day, a free event on Wednesday, April 3 for business professionals interested in learning about transitioning their fleets to electric vehicles (EVs). The event will feature the latest in electric vehicles, charging options, panelist discussions and networking opportunities. 

Arizona EV Fleet Expo will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 3 at the Mesa Convention Center, located at 263 N. Center St.

Event speakers and exhibitors include representatives from major Arizona cities and utilities, as well as companies leading the electrification transition, including Nikola Motors, Waymo, Tesla, Ford, GM, WattEV, Republic Services and Southern Glazers. Mayor John Giles of the City of Mesa and Diane Brown of AZ PIRG will discuss the exciting opportunities EVs provide for all Arizonans. Utility experts will share the financial incentives of electrification, and experts will discuss their forecasted outlooks for EVs in the next three years.

The Electric Fleet Day is hosted by the Transportation Electrification Activator (TE Activator), which is a coalition of regional stakeholders dedicated to advancing transportation electrification for the benefit of all Arizonans. The TE Activator is supported by SRP, APS, TEP, City of Phoenix, City of Tempe, City of Mesa, ASU, American Lung Association, Western Resource Advocates and SWEEP.

  • 9 a.m. Registration opens, exhibition opens: exhibitor booths and vehicle displays.
  • 10 a.m. Welcome – Making the Promise of EVs a Reality for Arizona
  • 10:30 a.m. to noon. Panel: Fleet Electrification - Building your Transition Plan (APS, SRP, TEP, Republic Services and City of Flagstaff).
  • Noon to 12:45 p.m. Lunch and expo.
  • 12:45 to 1 p.m. The Opportunity for EVs to Benefit all of Arizona, Mayor John Giles, City of Mesa (video) and Diane Brown, executive director of AZ PIRG.
  • 1 to 2 p.m. Panel: Managing an Electrified Fleet (City of Mesa, Southern Glazers Wine & Spirits, Phoenix Union School District, Salt River Pima – Maricopa Indian Community, City of Phoenix).
  • 2 to 2:30 p.m. Networking break and expo.
  • 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Panel: What’s coming next? What to expect over the Next Three Years (Nikola Motors, WattEV, Waymo, TRC/GNA, DNV, ICF).
  • 4 p.m. Exhibition closes.
