Donate candy for Queen Creek's Trunk or Treat, purchase VIP Experience

Trunk or Treat will take place this year from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Ellsworth Road in the Town Center.

The Town of Queen Creek is seeking candy donations from the community for its annual Halloween event, Trunk or Treat.

Trunk or Treat will take place this year from 5 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Ellsworth Road in the Town Center. Thousands of pieces of candy were distributed on Trunk or Treat Street at the 2021 event; to keep up with the growing demand of trick-or-treaters, the Recreation Division is currently hosting a candy drive.

Now through Oct. 7, donate a bag of candy at the Recreation Annex for your chance to win a Trunk or Treat VIP Experience. This includes four “no wait” trunk line wristbands, $20 carnival ticket voucher and one VIP parking pass. Earn a raffle ticket for every one-pound bag of unopened, individually wrapped candy donated.

A limited number of VIP Experiences are also available for purchase at the Recreation Annex for $75 through Oct. 7. Everyone using the front of line VIP experience must have a wristband, regardless of age (four wristbands are included, as noted above). Carnival tickets are also available for pre-sale through Sept. 30, $8 for 20 tickets (tickets are $10 for 20 at the event). Carnival tickets allow for participation in carnival games, inflatables, haunted houses, escape rooms and interactive attractions. Visit QueenCreekAZ.gov/RecRegistration to purchase your tickets.

Trunk or Treat provides a unique way for families to enjoy an evening of Halloween fun. Children trick‐or-treat by going from car trunk to car trunk on Trunk or Treat Street to get their bags filled with goodies. There will also be carnival games, axe throwing, escape rooms, food, vendors and more exciting Halloween attractions.
