Adrianne Calvo, an award-winning Miami-based restaurateur, cookbook author, Emmy-nominated YouTube show host and podcaster known for her cookbook "Maximum Flavor," is the featured chef for the fourth annual Swing Into Spring Social coming up this weekend.

The event is a charitable initiative aimed at raising funds for The Singletons, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting single-parent families facing the challenges of cancer. The event will take place on from 6 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, March 23 at the Sub Zero, Wolf and Cove Showroom in Scottsdale.

Calvo has made a name for herself with her innovative approach to cooking, and her contributions to the culinary world have garnered widespread acclaim. As the owner of the highly acclaimed Chef Adrianne's Vineyard Restaurant and Bar and Cracked by Chef Adrianne, her establishments have become staples on must-eat destination lists.

"I am honored to be part of the Swing Into Spring Social and contribute to such a worthy cause. The Singletons' dedication to supporting single-parent families facing the hardships of cancer is truly inspiring, and I am eager to do my part,” said Calvo. “This commitment holds a personal resonance for me, as my younger sister, Jennifer, passed away from cancer. She always emphasized the importance of making our time here on Earth count.”

Chef J Perry (JP Chefs), a celebrated culinarian, will emcee this year’s Swing Into Spring and provide gourmet tastings throughout the evening. Perry is one of the most exclusive and sought after chefs working with local celebrities, athletes and distinguished clientele.

Swing Into Spring attendees will also enjoy delectable delicacies by Adam Allison (“Chopped” Champion of Champions), Flip Isard (Frites Street Fries), Justin Pioche (Pioche Food Group) and Russell LaCasce (ZuZu), complemented by inventive cocktails, engaging games and an exhilarating live auction. Platinum VIP ticket holders will receive perks like open bar access, seating near Adrianne Calvo’s chef station and an exclusive swag bag.

"We are grateful to have Chef Adrianne Calvo join us, bringing not just her culinary expertise but also a heartfelt commitment to our cause,” said Jody Boyd, founder and CEO of The Singletons. “Having Chef Adrianne host a chef station at our event adds a unique and delightful touch, enhancing the experience for our attendees. We deeply appreciate her support and dedication.”

Proceeds from Swing Into Spring will help fund monthly programs and support for current and newly onboarded Singletons families. This includes nutritious meal kits, vital household supplies, and monthly programming and activities to foster camaraderie, connection, and support among Singletons families.
