Candidate packets for Queen Creek primary, general election available

Candidate packets for the Aug. 2/Nov. 8, 2022 Queen Creek Primary/General Election are now available from the Town Clerk’s Office. The office of mayor and three council members will be on the ballot. Appointments are not required, but are strongly recommended. Candidate packets must be turned into the Town Clerk’s Office between March 7, 2022 and April 4, 2022 by 5 p.m.

Candidate packets for the Aug. 2/Nov. 8, 2022 Queen Creek Primary/General Election are now available from the Town Clerk’s Office. The office of mayor and three council members will be on the ballot. Appointments are not required, but are strongly recommended. Candidate packets must be turned into the Town Clerk’s Office between March 7, 2022 and April 4, 2022 by 5 p.m.  

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

•       Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and a qualified elector.

•       Must be able to speak, write and read the English language.

•       Must reside within the Town of Queen Creek boundaries or annexed area at least one-year preceding the election.

•       Must not be a current employee with the Town of Queen Creek.

•       Must not have been convicted of a felony or treason, unless their civil rights have been restored.

•       Must not have been adjudicated an “incapacitated person.”

Register to vote here or request a form from Maricopa County at 602-506-1511 (www.maricopa.gov) or Pinal County at 520-866-7100 (www.pinalcountyaz.gov). The deadline to register to vote in the primary election is July 4, 2022.
