Support local military families by donating to Blue Star Mothers this week. The local non-profit organization is seeking donations to win tickets to this weekend's GoodLife Festival at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek March 25-26.
There are only a few more days to enter as they will be doing the drawing this Friday, March 24. The group is asking for $25 or more donations on their website, bluestarmothersofmaricopaaz7.
All donations will be used for the group's "Spring Packing Party for the Troops" to support local military families and to assist local veterans. Blue Star Mothers has active members in Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Florence, Coolidge and Apache Junction. They serve Maricopa, Pinal and Pima counties and are always looking for new members. They are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
