Armer Foundation for Kids hosting 5th Annual Holiday Toy Drive to benefit Banner Cardon Pediatric ICU

Several local businesses throughout the Valley are taking part as drop-off locations for the unopened toys which will provide holiday spirit, smiles and hope to children battling for their lives. To donate, Armer Foundation for Kids is asking that Valley residents drop off any new, unwrapped toys for kids between the ages of newborn to teens.

Through Dec. 18, Armer Foundation for Kids – a local nonprofit which helps families with children who have chronic or life-altering diseases – is hosting its Fifth Annual Holiday Toy Drive to benefit the Banner Cardon Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Oncology Unit.

“A brand-new toy can mean the world to a sick child and as parents, who have been through this, we know what a difference that can make; especially for those who spend several weeks in hospital,” said Jennifer Armer, founder of Armer Foundation for Kids. “While we are often helping with families’ medical expenses, we always like to do something extra for the holidays and are overjoyed by the amount of local businesses who are helping us give back to these children and their families.”
