Sage & Barrel Craft Eatery, a contemporary interpretation of traditional recipes using fresh and locally sourced products, is now open in the former Bar Vinedo space in Queen Creek at the northeast corner of Power and Rittenhouse roads.

Offering a casual fine dining atmosphere with an affordable menu that satisfies every taste, Sage & Barrel offers over 40 local craft beers with 12 on tap, over 30 brands of world-class bourbon, whiskey and scotch. Their wine list, in addition to offering a wide variety of interesting wines, is highlighted with unique, by-the-glass options.

“Our whole concept is casual fine dining where you are getting fresh, excellent homemade food, very large portions but not at the crazy high prices you may find across the Valley. Nothing here is frozen,” said owner Jordan Blevins. “We don’t want to be the special occasion place; we want to be the weekly place. You can find anything on the menu, there is something for everyone from burgers to steaks to seafood and pasta, you name it, we have it.”

Sage & Barrel celebrated its grand reopening March 28 with a Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting, which included Blevins, chamber staff, local business owners, Queen Creek Mayor Julia Wheatley, Vice Mayor Leah Martineau and Councilman Bryan McClure.

“After 10 months of searching the East Valley and finally coming to this place and seeing the community, the area and the potential growth, we knew this was the spot, it hit every parameter," Blevins added. "It’s a great community! We are small and local; we want to support local businesses here in town and hopefully get that back. It has been a fantastic out pour from the community, some of these people it’s their ninth time and we’ve only been open for seven weeks, so it’s pretty impressive.”

Sage & Barrel's mission is simple: "Provide exceptional service with high quality, delicious and affordable food with a menu for everyone."

The new restaurant is located at 7215 S. Power Road. For more information, visit sagebarrel.com.
