It's finally October, and that means it's time for Schnepf Farms' Pumpkin & Chili Party. The annual event kicked off today, Oct. 1, and is Arizona’s premier family festival right here in Queen Creek, offering nearly 45 rides and attractions included in the price of admission.

Enjoy home cooked meals, exciting new rides, fun corn mazes, the pumpkin patch and the open air of a real working farm.

The Pumpkin & Chili Party again will be limited in daily attendance. They are doing this to make your experience better with fewer lines. So purchase your tickets early at www.pumpkinandchiliparty.com to ensure your visit. There may be days they will sell out, as everyone is the mood to celebrate our cooler fall weather on the farm.

The farm is located at 24810 S. Rittenhouse Road. Hours are noon to 10 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.

Regular admission is $5. There is no charge to park. Kids 12 and under are free. If you plan on going multiple days, a weekend pass is available for $10. The farm is pet friendly, however, they do not recommend bringing dogs to the annual Fourth of July fireworks show because it scares them.
