Interested in starting a business in Queen Creek? Join the town's Economic Development team for a startup mixer on Thursday, May 11.
From 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Bar Vinedo, located at 7215 S. Power Road, Suite B-107, connect with local community stakeholders at the free event while learning more about business resources.
“This event provides an informal environment to connect entrepreneurs with local resources,” said Queen Creek’s Economic Development Director Doreen Cott. “Startup business are facing a unique environment – interest rates are high, social media platforms provide enhanced reach and the region continues to have an attractive growth rate and demographics. Our goal is to engage local entrepreneurs that have a business or are interested in opening a business in Queen Creek to help them harness the positive business components and navigate the more challenging.”
Representatives from the Town of Queen Creek’s Economic Development and Development Services departments, local property brokers and Gangplank will be in attendance. Gangplank is a free maker space located in Queen Creek’s downtown core that supports a shared vision for entrepreneurs.
The startup mixer is being sponsored by SRP. Complimentary appetizers will be provided – drinks will be available for purchase. Bar Vinedo is a local Queen Creek restaurant that recently welcomed the Spaghetti Shack through a ghost kitchen concept. Spaghetti Shack was founded by a group of friends, one of which is a Queen Creek High School graduate and member of DECA.
