Gila River Business Enterprises assumes management of Wild Horse Pass Chevron

Additionally, on Tuesday, Feb. 13, Gila River Business Enterprises is hosting a “Gallontine’s Day” event at the new Gila Gas & Goods at Wild Horse Pass from 9 to 11 a.m. and 2 to 4 p.m. Visitors for each session will receive $1 off per gallon of regular unleaded 87 fuel only during these times.

Gila River Business Enterprises took over management Feb. 1 of Wild Horse Pass Chevron in Chandler. It will become the first of seven Gila Gas & Goods fuel stations and convenience stores across the Gila River Indian Community.

Located at 5139 Wild Horse Pass Blvd., this gas station is presently known for high gas prices. With this acquisition, Gila River Business Enterprises will provide more competitive fuel prices, which customers can expect soon after the management change in early February.

“We decided to take on the venture of a fuel station and convenience store brand to better serve the members and visitors of the Gila River Indian Community,” said Suzanne King, director of operations for Gila River Business Enterprises. “Gila Gas & Goods will provide fair fuel prices and a range of popular products to create convenient one-stop-shops for those on the go.”

Visitors can start lining up in the staging area behind the fuel station 30 minutes prior to each session; 8:30 a.m. for the first session and 1:30 p.m. for the second session. There will also be swag bags courtesy of Gila Gas & Goods for the cars as they line up and giveaways at the store from partnering brands such as PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, Hensley, Crescent Crown, Kalil, Chevron and Coremark.

“To celebrate the launch of Gila Gas & Goods, we came up with this creative ‘Gallontine’s Day’ event to showcase our appreciation and dedication to our customers,” said Ellen Buddington, director of marketing for the Wild Horse Pass Development Authority. “We anticipate this event will be bustling, so please plan on getting there on time! We will have additional parking available for customers to enter the facility and take advantage of the giveaways.”
