Chipotle Mexican Grill, the fast-food chain offering Mexican fare, including design-your-own burritos, tacos and bowls, is opening its first location in San Tan Valley tomorrow.
"We're always looking for communities where we can serve responsibly sourced, classically-cooked, real food and establish new local partnerships, and the San Tan Valley area is a great fit," said Erin Wolford, vice president of external communications for Chipotle Mexican Grill.
Officially opening at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday, May 11, this new location, at 1371 W. Hunt Highway in San Tan Valley, will feature the brand’s signature Chipotlane, a drive-thru pick-up lane that allows guests to conveniently pick up digital orders without leaving their cars.
“Chipotlanes differ from our traditional restaurant layout by increasing access and convenience with a speedy and seamless guest experience,” explained Wolford. "The new location will also bring additional career opportunities to the San Tan Valley area for residents interested in cultivating a better world through real food."
Currently, there is a regular Chipotle strip mall location in Queen Creek at 21172 S. Ellsworth Loop Road, Suite 114, in the Queen Creek Marketplace. Wolford said Chipotle does not currently have a Chipotlane planned for Queen Creek.
The San Tan Valley location will also be featuring a new menu item, Chicken al Pastor, that guests can try. The new restaurant will be open daily from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. like the one in Queen Creek.
Chipotle is also hiring at all of its locations, including in Queen Creek and San Tan Valley.
