As You Wish Pottery supports Tempe Empty Bowls during MLK weekend

From Saturday, Jan. 13 through Monday, Jan. 15 guests are invited to join in at all seven Valley locations, including Queen Creek, to get creative and help out those who are food insecure. As You Wish will be waiving studio fees for all who choose to "paint it forward" and paint a bowl to be donated.

As You Wish Pottery is hosting a bowl painting giveback event this Martin Luther King Jr. weekend at all seven of its Valley locations, including Queen Creek, Chandler Crossroads, Mesa Grande and Tempe Marketplace.

From Saturday, Jan. 13 through Monday, Jan. 15 guests are invited to join in to get creative and help out those who are food insecure. As You Wish will be waiving studio fees for all who choose to "paint it forward" and paint a bowl to be donated to Tempe Empty Bowls.

"We are thrilled to create an opportunity for members of the community to participate in Tempe Empty Bowls' annual event," said Lori and Scott Neff, owners of As You Wish Pottery. "Partnering with Tempe Empty Bowls is one of our favorite ways to stay true to our value of Giving Back and we look forward to this event every year."

Bowls painted during MLK weekend at As You Wish will be donated to Tempe Empty Bowls and then sold at their event on Saturday, Feb. 24 at Tempe Public Library. Bowls sold at the event will provide approximately 50 meals to members of the community in need.
