The program provides an opportunity each month for one student from each of the San Tan Valley school district's eight schools to be recognized for demonstrating one of the various pillars of the Character Counts program.

Queen Creek Unified School District's April Students and Employees of the Month are from Crismon High School and Queen Creek High School.

Scott Lovely, currently assistant principal at Eastmark High School, brings with him a wealth of experience and a dedication to academic excellence, making him an ideal leader for Queen Creek High School, according to the district. He will begin his new role in July.

Queen Creek Unified School District offers tuition-free, full-day kindergarten programs across all nine of our elementary schools, with half-day options available at most of our elementary schools.

As schools strive to reverse the absence trend, it's crucial for schools and parents to work together closely. Several student-designs will be presented on the runway of the Mesa Fashion Forward being presented by the Mesa Chamber of Commerce at Superstition Springs Mall (in the JCPenney Court) on Saturday, April 20.

The Cortina Elementary Rad Dadz group formed organically at the Queen Creek school, bonding over shared interests. Rad Dadz is a group focused on friendship and active involvement in their children's school in the Higley Unified School District.

The fountain is recognized as the fourth tallest water fountain in the world, reaching a height of 560 feet when all three 660 hp pumps are in use. LED lights shine upon the fountain and from under the stream as well to give the fountain a variety of color displays used for special events and recognitions.
