Queen Creek FD, PD deliver gifts this Christmas to those in need

"Thank you to the community for showing such generosity and helping us spread holiday cheer in Queen Creek," QCFMD firefighters posted on their Facebook page Christmas Eve.

Members of both the Queen Creek Fire and Medical Department (QCFMD) and the Queen Creek Police Department (QCPD) were able to spread holiday cheer and deliver gifts to those in need this Christmas with help from the community.

QCPD officers have been busy delivering gifts this month to dozens of families throughout town as they participated in Target's Heroes and Helpers program, where they went shopping for children enrolled in the program. The officers cherished the opportunity to connect with kids while dropping off the gifts and seeing their faces light up with joy.

Then, thanks to a last-minute donation of toys Christmas Eve, QCFMD firefighters were able to deliver a truck full of gifts to the Queen Creek Family Resource Center and its partners with the Department of Child Safety. This was in addition to all the gifts they collected and gave to kids in need this Christmas in partnership with the resource center and Queen Creek Kiwanis, as part of their annual car show and toy drive earlier this month.

"Thank you to the community for showing such generosity and helping us spread holiday cheer in Queen Creek," the firefighters posted on their Facebook page yesterday.
