Sunday, May 15 was Peace Officers Memorial Day and a local bike ride honored those police officers who died while serving their communities.
Queen Creek Police Sgt. Shana Higgins was one of thousands of bicycle riders who participated in the Law Enforcement United ride to honor the fallen, and remember the survivors. Money raised through the 250-mile ride is donated to various charities that support law enforcement officers and their families.
