The Queen Creek Fire and Medical Department is joining the Maricopa Association of Government's Heat Relief Network by designating Fire Station 1 as a drop-off site for water as our temps heat up for summer. Supplies will be distributed to network partners that serve as hydration stations or cooling centers in the Valley.
If you would like to help, you can drop off cases of water at Fire Station 1, located at 20678 Civic Parkway.
"Queen Creek firefighters may be on a call, so if no one is able to assist you, please drop off your donations outside the front door," said Sonu Wasu, public information officer for Queen Creek public safety.
