Queen Creek Fire and Medical Department (QCFMD) firefighters love interacting with participants of the town's senior program. Once a month crews offer free blood pressure checks to seniors in the community. It's a great way for participants to meet the fire crews and keep an eye on their numbers.
QCFMD officially began to provide emergency services to residents on Jan. 1, 2008. Community service is a top priority for the department as it continues to grow. In April the town celebrated the opening of permanent Fire Station 5 at 245 W. Combs Road.
QCFMD offers four additional stations throughout the community:
- Fire Station 1 – 20678 E. Civic Parkway
- Fire Station 2 – 24787 S. Sossaman Road
- Fire Station 3 – 19159 E. Queen Creek Road
- Fire Station 4 – 20155 E. Signal Butte Road
