Funeral services Dec. 30 for Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb’s family

Funeral services for Cooper Lamb, his fiancée Caroline Patten, and their one-year-old daughter, Elaine, will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at the LDS Stake Center, 31844 N. Gantzel Road, in San Tan Valley.

Caroline Patten, the fiancée of Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb’s son, died in the hospital Dec. 23 from her life-threatening injuries resulting from the Dec. 16 crash in Gilbert that also took the lives of Cooper Lamb and their daughter, Elaine.

Patten’s full obituary can be found here, as shared by Sheriff Lamb on Facebook, along with this video.

"Thank you everybody for the amazing support, the love and the prayers...," Sheriff Lamb also posted on Facebook.

Patten was driving near Elliot Road and Cole Drive, just west of Recker Road, around 3:45 p.m. on Dec. 16 when her car was t-boned while she was trying to make a left turn. Sheriff Lamb’s son Cooper, 22, and the couple's one-year-old daughter, Elaine, both died at the crash scene.

Brian Torres, 21, who was arrested at the crash scene and was not injured, is still being investigated for impairment as investigators await BAC lab analysis results.

Funeral services for all three will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30 at the LDS Stake Center, 31844 N. Gantzel Road, in San Tan Valley.
