December 10, 1950 – November 24, 2021

Randolph “Randy” John Fetcenko, 70, passed away in his home in Mesa, AZ on November 24th, 2021. Randy was born December 10th, 1950, in Phillipsburg, Pa to John and Rose Marie Fetcenko. He was the first born and his sister, Bonnie, was the second born.

In 1971 Randy married his college sweetheart, Marie, and started a family. Like all new families, Randy had to figure out what he wanted. In 1982, Randy was offered a job that at the time he didn’t realize it was the job of his dreams. For the next 30 years he worked for several companies, but the job he did brought him joy and he found so many new friends along the way. So, in December 2016, Randy made the hard decision to retire.

It took him a couple of months to figure out how to occupy his time. He lived in Arizona, so where else could he pursue his second love, GOLF. While he was working Randy made annual trips back to Pennsylvania to play golf and unwind from his stressful job, enjoy golf and time with his friend, the T&L group. On that yearly trip, he also made time to check on his parents and sister and catchup. But now he could put golf first. He joined a league, Arizona Outlaws, where he met a great bunch of guys who enjoyed the game as much as he did. Once a week wasn’t enough, so a group from the league decided play Wednesday together and Saturday. He got involve in the league, first as President and the as Tournament Chairmen. He was living life!

Randy was preceded in death by his son, Christopher, and his Parents John and Rosie Marie.

He is survived by his sister, Bonnie, Wife Marie, Son Stephen, His granddaughters Nicole, and Felicia, his brother-in-law Walt and wife Dale, and his brother-in-law Kevin. He will be missed dearly. Instead of flowers, we ask that you play a round of golf in his honor. He would have preferred that.
