David C Lindley was born on December 23, 1934 to Samuel and Ruby Lindley.  He graduated in 1953 from Tigard High School in Oregon.   Before he graduated, he worked at a gas station, then for Joe Fisher’s car Dealership shagging cars.  He served ten years in the Air Guard and Air Force.  He went to work for the Singer company and was very successful. He owned stores in four different locations.  Once retired, he and Louise moved from Tacoma, WA to Mesa, AZ in 2005.

David was active in church all of his life.  He served as a deacon and elder in several churches and was an ordained minister.  He has been a faithful member of Living Word Bible Church since 2003.  He was the leader of the Golden Jubilee Sunday school class for 9 years.  He also served at LWBC as a Team Teach leader, prayer partner and elder.

David was married to the love of his life, Louise, for 51 years and had a blended family of 7 children.  He is survived by his spouse, Louise, and 6 children, Bruce Lindley, Lois (Roger) Roberts, Kimberly (Steve) Snider, Donna (Mark) Ellis, Suzie (Hans) Hoogendam, Charles (Patty) Lindley and 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by son, Ken Snider, brother John Lindley, sister Grace Raber.

Some of his favorite activities were boating, flying his own plane, traveling in his RV and camping with family.  He is known for his sense of humor, love of laughter, joyous attitude, knowledge and passion for God’s word.

Services will be at 11 am on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Living Word Bible Church, 3520 E Brown Road
