Dan was born on November 2, 1946, in Philadelphia, PA, to Edward and Catherine (Helmuth) Herron.
Loving Husband, of more than 52 years, to Betsy (Meighan) Herron.

Proud grandfather of Danielle Herron (Josh Saylor), Charles J Herron (Jessica), Hailey Herron, Brayden Herron, Payton Herron, Raelynn Herron. Great-grandfather of Skyler Herron.
Brother of Cass Walsh, Denise Connelly (Jack), Grace Coughlan, Edward (Dorothy) Herron, Dick (Nancy) Herron. Further survived by nephews, nieces and many dear friends.
Preceded in death by his son, Daniel Joseph, father, Edward, mother, Catherine, sister, Patricia (Herron) Doyle, brother-in-laws, Jack Walsh & Pat Coughlan.
Dan spent his career in computer technology. In 1989, Dan was ordained a Deacon and found his true calling. For the past 34 years, Deacon Dan has lovingly served in various Catholic/ Episcopal communities in Arizona and Utah. He also worked as a Hospice chaplain.
