Queen Creek High's Shaun Hardt named NFHS Girls Track & Field National Coach of the Year 2022–23

Hardt emerged victorious among seven other finalists nationwide. In his remarkable 21-year tenure at the helm of Queen Creek's track and field program, Hardt has coached over 240 meets, achieving top-three placements 95% of the time. Leading both girls and boys teams, he boasts 120 invitational victories and numerous state championships, including three for the girls team.
