Queen Creek High School’s football team beat Casteel High School 21-0 in front of a spirited crowd on Friday, Oct. 8, bringing their undefeated season to 5-0.
Coach Travis Schureman and the varsity players dominated the game, scoring touchdowns in the first, second and fourth quarters.
Highlights included touchdowns by Bulldog players Payton Barlow; 33, Sebastian Tomerlin; 1 and Brody Curtis; 56. Brody Curtis’ touchdown was scored on an interception with less than a minute left in the game.
It was also Military Appreciation Night. Service members and law enforcement attended the game for free and were honored at halftime.
