Eastmark High School defeated Florence High School at home on Friday, Oct. 29 to become Central Region Champions.

"Our new facility will create a stronger system of care for homeless pets throughout the state while combating overpopulation and keeping more pets in homes," according to Arizona Humane Society officials.

“It was a great surprise. I was really honored to hear that I was recognized as one of the top branding agencies in Arizona," Andy Brenits said.

The Capital Improvements Department is the newest department within the town after previously being a division under the Public Works Department.
