This community event will be from 5:30 to 10 p.m. tonight, May 14 at Schnepf Farms. One hundred percent of event proceeds will be donated to Ukraine refugees.

Repaving along the left lanes of eastbound US 60 has gone well. Plans call for reopening eastbound US 60 between I-10 and McClintock Drive by early next week, according to ADOT officials.

The free event takes place tomorrow, May 14, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Friends for Life Adoption Center, located at 952 W. Melody Ave. in Gilbert. The event is first come, first served, and for safety, dogs should be on a leash, and cats should be in a proper cat carrier.
