The March 17 event is hosted by the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce at McFarland State Park.

These Firebirds achieved four first place, one second place and one third place finishes. They also took home Best Freshman female and male rankings and placed third in the women's team for the third year in a row.

"The idea was to experience a glimpse of what our first responders can encounter in a day," said Councilmember Dawn Oliphant.

“We have a growing wait list of over 50 Maricopa County youth seeking weekly services with diagnosis of ADD, AD/HD, autism and PTSD. To meet that need we must begin the recruitment, onboarding and intensive training to become a ‘Hunkapi Programs Approved’ facilitator," said Larry Schaad.

“Walking by yourself or with friends or family is a great way to practice self care. It is really beneficial and I would like to invite the community to join us for our first walk on March 18," said Michelle Tucker, founder of the Chosen Warrior Cancer Support Foundation.

There are tons of things our dogs want, such as going outside, going through a door or playing with a toy, and you can think of these things as life rewards. Rather than approaching training as a way of preventing your dog from getting what he wants, use of life rewards and teach him that he can have what he wants if he gives you what you want first.

Jordan Brocker, who has lived in Queen Creek for the past six years, opened this newest full-service physical therapy clinic off Ellsworth and Sierra Park roads in December.

Mermaid Magic events are free with paid admission to OdySea Aquarium except for specific Magic Memories photos; tickets are available onsite and online. Visitors will be able to see mermaids in at least one location at Odysea Aquarium between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. each day.

The next one, Pruning 101, is happening on Saturday, March 18 at 9 a.m., when you can learn from a certified arborist how to prune your trees and shrubs.

In kindergarten, students receive comprehensive and challenging instruction in academic core areas including reading, writing, math, science and social studies. They also have college and career exploration opportunities, music classes, physical education courses and opportunities to participate in before- and after-school enrichment programs.
