In honor of this week's Garlic Fest, Tavolo is having its first garlic dinner ever, according to David Mills, marketing coordinator at the Queen Creek Olive Mill, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21.

Come and enjoy a multi-course, family-style menu of exquisite recipes inspired by one of the most essential ingredients in Italian cuisine: Garlic. The garlic-inspired, fine dining experience called the Tavolo dinner at the Queen Creek Olive Mill is a truly unique culinary experience this month.

In honor of this week's Garlic Fest, Tavolo is having its first garlic dinner ever, according to David Mills, marketing coordinator at the Queen Creek Olive Mill, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21.

"Di Oliva Italian Bistro and Bar is relaunching this year with a new menu as well as an upgraded facility with misters. The farm does monthly pairings of olive oil and vinaigrettes and a new pairing is the garlic and prickly pear pairing that is extremely popular and sold out the first day so they've had to restock throughout the day," Mills explained. "Chefs also developed special recipes specifically for that pairing including prickly pear garlic wings and prickly pear pulled pork. They sell a garlic recipe book as a fundraiser for Joy Bus. Last year, the summer was too hot for their elephant garlic harvest but this year they were able to have a decent elephant garlic harvest and they sell five different garlics."
