Queen Creek's Jennifer Lindley recognized as ‘Top 40 Under 40’ by Phoenix Business Journal

“Jenn is very deserving of this recognition. Her enthusiasm for downtown development is obvious,” said Queen Creek Economic Development Director Doreen Cott.

Queen Creek Downtown Development Manager Jennifer Lindley was recently recognized by the Phoenix Business Journal as one of their "Top 40 Under 40" award recipients.

“Jenn is very deserving of this recognition. Her enthusiasm for downtown development is obvious,” said Queen Creek Economic Development Director Doreen Cott. “She truly loves what she does and her passion for Queen Creek, the Town Center and Downtown Core is contagious. I am proud to work with Jenn and I am very happy to see her hard work at the town, as well as her service in the community, being recognized and celebrated.”

Lindley has served with the town for eight years and in her time with the Economic Development Department, Queen Creek has opened its first hotel, a Fry’s Marketplace, Trader Joe’s and Aldi, and is set to open a Costco later this year. With Lindley at the helm of downtown development, Queen Creek is working to define the town’s Downtown Core. The vision for the Downtown Core is to further develop a vibrant and active district that complements the culture and heritage of the community through pedestrian-friendly developments. Lindley also oversees Queen Creek’s Downtown Arts and Placemaking Committee.

Additionally, Lindley is responsible for co-founding AZ Downtowns, a group that was created to ensure there is better statewide collaboration and legislation for downtown development and redevelopment.

The Phoenix Business Journal program recognizes executives in the Phoenix region who are not only excelling in their careers but leaving a lasting legacy on their communities.

In addition to her accomplishments within downtown development, the Phoenix Business Journal also highlighted Lindley’s dedication to the nonprofit organization, Neighbors Who Care. She currently serves as the chair for this organization that supports seniors and their families by providing an array of non-medical assistive services to clients who are homebound.

Lindley was also recently recognized as the Arizona Economic Developer of the Year from the Arizona Association of Economic Development HERE
