Queen Creek Family Market happening March 4

There's plenty of free parking. Remaining market dates for the first half of 2023 are March 18, April 8 and April 22.

The Queen Creek Family Market is back this weekend outside the town's library.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Saturday, March 4, shop from 180-plus vendors outside the Queen Creek Library, located at 21802 S. Ellsworth Road. Vendors will be selling products from soaps to freeze-dried candies. There will be over 20 food booths/trucks alone and a bounce house for kids. This weekend's vendors include Baby Designs by Beth, Barn House Boutique, Bek's Boutique, Belle Street Company, Body & Brew, Budda Rubs, Cami Jay and C-Me Grow.

Founder Kelly Crandall started the market in 2017 after moving to Arizona in 2016. She wanted to create a market with a little bit of everything and spent a year putting in work before it got off the ground. The market began with only 30 vendors, but its popularity exploded and they now have more than 180 vendors.

The difference between this family market and other farmers markets that didn’t succeed in the past, Crandall noted, is community.

“We make it like a family,” she said. “We all have a mutual respect for each other.”

The market also supports a local dog rescue, Love Connection Dog Rescue of Chandler, who usually brings 15 to 24 dogs looking to be adopted. Crandall has two dogs from the rescue.

“I love watching a community come together,” Crandall said. “There’s a little bit here for everybody.”

There's plenty of free parking. Remaining market dates for the first half of 2023 are March 18, April 8 and April 22.
