QCUSD September Students of the Month honored

Students are from Desert Mountain Elementary and Frances Brandon Pickett Elementary schools

The Queen Creek Unified School District has announced its September Students of the Month:

Amira Roberts – Desert Mountain Elementary

Amira is what everyone wants as a student, child and overall human. She is kind and helpful to her classmates and serves her school by helping with tasks not necessarily hers to complete. She was asked to commit to helping with the school-wide announcements until we had elected a Student Council. She took on this responsibility with great commitment and ownership. Amira can always be counted on to give her best in everything she does. She is a wonderful friend who is honest and caring. She is looked up to as an excellent student and leader in the classroom.

Matthew Aspinall – Desert Mountain Elementary

Matthew is always being kind to everyone he encounters. When Matthew sees a student alone on the playground, Matthew will ask if they would like to play with him. Matthew is a friend to all and shows kindness to every student and staff on a daily basis

Taleah Iniguez – Frances Brandon Pickett Elementary

Taleah demonstrates the trait of respect throughout the Pickett campus every single day. She uses good manners with her peers and adults on campus, always saying “please” and “thank you.” Taleah also demonstrates respect by being a good friend to others. She instantly befriended a new student to Pickett and made the new student feel welcome and like she already had a friend.

Vicente Hernandez – Frances Brandon Pickett Elementary

Vicente shows respect everyday! He is respectful to his classmates, peers, teachers and staff. Vicente treats everyone with kindness and compassion. He is one who will partner with anyone without any complaining, he is a friend to all. Vicente is polite and always uses his manners. He is hardworking and always tries his best, even when struggling with certain concepts. Our class is very fortunate to have him as he continues to be a role model student!
