Not only is it Nurse Appreciation Week, yesterday was National School Nurse Day and what better way to celebrate than to give a shout-out to Queen Creek Unified School District nurse, Lisa Christensen.
She began working in QCUSD in 2019 as the school nurse at Queen Creek Elementary. She fell in love with school nursing and was able to become the district nurse. Her hard work and passion to help the district's schools were recognized at the latest QCUSD Award of Excellence Night.
