Friends for Life offers dog lure course fun for all Jan. 22

"It is great exercise for your dog and most dogs have an absolute blast doing it," said Barb Savoy, director of public relations and marketing for Friends for Life Animal Rescue. "Come see us this weekend to try it out."

Looking for a fun activity to do with your dog this weekend? Friends for Life Animal Rescue in Gilbert has just the thing that's fun for your dog and entertaining for you to watch or run with them.

The animal rescue is hosting its monthly lure course fun for all to enjoy from 8 to 10 a.m. this Saturday, Jan. 22 at the shelter's dog park.

For $5 per dog, per run, all dogs of any size are welcome to try the lure course. It's a mechanism set up in the gated Friends for Life dog park that allows your dog to chase the “rabbit” around off leash.

"It is great exercise for your dog and most dogs have an absolute blast doing it," said Barb Savoy, director of public relations and marketing for Friends for Life Animal Rescue. "Come see us this weekend to try it out."
