It was a full house inside the McArthur Ballroom at the Arizona Biltmore on Oct. 1 as Child Crisis Arizona hosted its annual Brunch for Love fundraising event.

Stories were shared about the Mesa-based nonprofit group’s mission is to provide children and youth in Arizona a safe environment, free from abuse and neglect, by creating strong and successful families.

Child Crisis Arizona has been helping our community’s most vulnerable children, youth and families for nearly five decades. In times of crisis, they are there to help. When no crisis threatens, they are there to strengthen families, build resiliency and prevent crisis situations.

The shelter does this all through prevention, intervention and education programs designed to support the thousands of children and families who may be at risk. All their work centers on their vision of safe kids…strong families.

You can read about all of these programs and their impact in their  2020 Community Report. Child Crisis Arizona is based in Mesa at 604 W. 9th St.
