PHOENIX – 72SOLD affiliate Hague Partners announced the acquisition of The Midland Team, a top performing residential and commercial real estate group from the Midland Real Estate Alliance brokerage located in Tempe.
Founded in 1999 by Karl Tunberg, the affiliation adds 12 additional real estate agents to the 72SOLD team in Arizona, bringing the total to 282. It also adds a third brick and mortar location for 72SOLD. Midland Real Estate Alliance will remain open, focusing on commercial real estate only. The residential side of the business is now managed by 72SOLD with Tunberg as the managing broker for the new Tempe Branch.
Founded by Arizona attorney, real estate authority and TV spokesperson Greg Hague, 72SOLD now operates in 38 states, offering home sellers a program to sell in 72 hours, avoid daily showings, choose their closing date, then stay in their home for up to six months after closing. A recent study by a local title company found that home sellers netted 8.4 percent higher prices using the 72SOLD program.

The announcement comes on the heels of 72SOLD acquiring The Real Estate Firm in Gilbert. The Midland Team closed $65 million in sales in 2020 and is projected to close $90 million in 2021. The team will remain at its current office located at 1611 E. Warner Road, allowing agents to give buyers and sellers more personalized service across Metro Phoenix.
