Schnepf now serving homemade breakfast, lunch on the farm

While many drive out to the Queen Creek farm to take in the country air and pick some fresh fruit in their U-Pick Garden each weekend, they can now order homemade breakfast and lunch out of the Schnepf Farms Bakery & Country Store from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays.

Carrie Schnepf is showing off her skills in the kitchen as Schnepf Farms is now serving homemade breakfast and lunch out of its Bakery & Country Store each week.

Admission to the farm is always free while there is a charge for some activities.

Schnepf has become known for baking her warm, fluffy and flakey biscuits. She makes them fresh each day as they go from the oven and are used in her biscuits and gravy meal, which has become a farm favorite.

"It's one of our most popular dishes," Schnepf said. "Stop by today for breakfast or lunch. While you're here, visit our old school candy shop, petting zoo, play yards and take a ride on our Schnepf Farms Express train."

Schnepf Farms is located in Queen Creek at 24810 S. Rittenhouse Road.
